The challenge

Develop a platform (hardware) to manage devices (sensors, controllers)

The goal was to develop a platform (hardware) to manage devices (sensors, controllers) related to a system that measures the quality of the air inside the homes of thousands of Americans, for a better health and a better life. One of the main challenges was to find a trusted brand to incorporate with the software created by our developers because the suppliers had their own applications, and our client wanted custom-built. Also, when problems in the hardware appeared it was hard to fix them from the supplier’s side, and since that wasn’t working a decision was made to create an in-house sensor with in-house software

.02

The approach

Continuous monitoring of indoor air quality to promote healthier living

Seamless integration between the client’s newly developed hardware and our custom-built software

Mobile app developed for both iOS and Android devices.

Development of proprietary in-house sensors and matching software, replacing third-party vendor tools.

.03

The outcome

Our team worked closely with the client to incorporate the hardware that was being developed on the client side with the software we were creating to support the functionality of the sensor. Everything had to be performed with extreme correlation, so the system worked perfectly. We developed a lot of new functionalities, now that we knew the hardware came to stay, we took that opportunity to create more and more things, pushing our boundaries continuously. The app was developed for both IOS and Android.
